Turmeric chicken with honey and lemon
INGREDIENTS

4 chicken breasts
1 tablespoon turmeric
2 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons olive oil
3-4 cloves garlic, crushed
Juice of 1 lemon
Salt and pepper
Fresh coriander
HOW TO DO IT
Preheat the oven to 200°C. Mix the turmeric, honey, olive oil, crushed garlic and lemon juice in a bowl. Place the chicken in an ovenproof dish and season well with salt and pepper. Pour the turmeric-honey mixture over the chicken, making sure it is well covered with the marinade. Cut the squeezed lemon into slices and place it next to the chicken and add 1-2 dl of water to the bottom. Place the dish in the oven and roast the chicken for 25-30 minutes, until it is cooked through but still juicy. Season the roast with salt and, if desired, stir 1-2 tablespoons of butter into the sauce.
Garnish with fresh coriander and serve the chicken with rice or bread and a fresh salad.
