BLACK CEYLON PEPPER 400 g

Ceylon pepper, also called black gold, is recognized as some of the best and most aromatic peppercorns in the world. The pepper plant is a climbing plant that grows up fruit trees and palms, and our pepper is grown in the wild forest gardens around the city of Kandy.

The green peppercorns are hand-picked and dried to a moisture content of 10-11% and have a high concentration of piperine, which is the substance that gives pepper its characteristic taste and aroma with notes of citrus with a touch of eucalyptus, slightly smoky and spicy, strong taste with a long and warm aftertaste.

Our pepper elevates meat dishes and is suitable for fish, vegetables, soups, eggs and marinades.
