GINGER

Sri Lankan ginger is often praised for its particularly strong flavour compared to other varieties. Our ginger is grown naturally by farmers in wild forest gardens, and is hand-harvested, washed, dried and ground immediately before being shipped to us. This results in a fresh, intense and aromatic ginger with a peppery, earthy flavour with notes of citrus. Ginger is almost made for the spicy cuisine’s wok and stew dishes, but also provides a fresh kick in baked goods, desserts, jams and chutneys as well as tea, chai, juice and of course homemade ginger shots.
