Turmeric cake with lemon syrup

INGREDIENTS


Dough

2 dl honey or agave syrup
2 dl coconut oil or almond oil
8 eggs
2 tsp. turmeric
600 g almond flour, other blended nuts or coconut flour
2 lemons, zest
2 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp. salt

Fill
3 lemons, juiced
1 dl honey or agave syrup


HOW TO DO IT

Turn on the oven to 170 degrees. Mix all the ingredients and spread the mixture in a non-stick pan or other pan lined with baking paper. Put the cake in the oven and bake for approx. 25 minutes. Keep an eye on it so it doesn't burn, and check with a skewer whether it is cooked through. Let the cake cool in the pan and finally drizzle it with lemon syrup.

Serve with a cup of coffee or a piping hot Chai latte or Golden chai
